Concept Design
Initial concepts for character are roughed out in a brain storming session. Once an appropriate design has been established, a final colour rough is created. Front, back and side profiles are drawn up for modeling purposes.

Background Illustrations
Background illustrated plates are created upon which the animation will take place. These illustrations are layered so that elements can be animated individually.

Animation
3D assets for the animation are modeled from the initial concept art that was created. Characters and objects are then animated and rendered out for the next stage.

Compositing
The background matte paintings and rendered animations are then composited together. Further animation and design tweaks are made to bring together both elements so that they work together dynamically within the scene.
