Izilla gives the Greater a new look following growth in internet banking

The Greater Building Society's website has some new features and a new look.
Greater chief executive officer John Arnold says the website has been updated in response to the dramatic rise in the number customers choosing to use Internet banking. The site also incorporates the new look yellow and blue livery being rolled out across the Greater's branch network.

More than 47,000 Greater customers are now registered for Internet banking. When the Greater first established its website and Internet banking facility in 2000 only 1,060 customers used the online service.
The Greater's home loan customers are the biggest users of Internet banking with more than 50 percent registered to use the facility.
Mr Arnold says customers now have access to an improved on-line loan application facility, an improved third party payment facility, and are also able to receive bills online through BPay View.
He says the growth in Internet banking is due to the convenience of the facility and the fact that, at the Greater, the service is absolutely free of fees and charges.
The website has been created by the Greater and technology company Izilla. Izilla previously developed an enterprise content management system to provide Greater staff with fast and efficient access to procedures and other documents. The system has resulted in better service and reduced operating costs.
Established in August 2000, Izilla is one of the most experienced internet solutions companies in the country, and has more than 20 staff based in its offices in Sydney and Newcastle.
The Greater Building Society is one of the country's fastest growing building societies. It has 63 branches in NSW and South East Queensland. A new branch at Nerang in Queensland is under construction.
